micrsoft messenger

Hi,

Does anyone know how to get rid of that irritating as hell microsoft messenger?

It comes up at every startup, I have run msconfig and removed it from startup, but it keeps coming back!

Ideally i would like to remove the whole thing, but am not sure how (Also this might effect other installations).

All help would be much appreciated

Rich

Welcome to the forum rich1234

Go to start>control panel>add remove programs> on the left side you will see 'add remove windows components', select this. At the bottom of the list is windows messenger. Uncheck it and follow the instructions.

Did this solve your problem?
