our teen craftily got in behind me on my "administrator" user account, made himself a "computer administrator" and then used admin status to make himself a "password disc" so that he can circumvent any new password I come up with. This must be a rather commen occurence among those with teens. This disc feature in XP is great for adults who just forget their passwords, but Microsoft does not say what to do if such a disc is in the wrong hands.
Do I have to uninstall/reinstall XP to cancel his password disc? Is there any more simple procedure? If I back up all my Windows files or move windows to my 2nd installed hard drive, will it just back up his disc as well? How should I proceed to make his disc unusable other than strangle the disc out of him??
