Windows XP SP2 : Bug

Hi All,

I am using Windows XP SP2 on a client machine to access a web page that installs an ActiveX component on the client machine. Normally, the information bar should appear clicking on which the download should take place.

When I try to access the site using the servername (e.g. https://servername/mypage.htm), the information bar doesn't show up. But when I use the ip address of the web server (e.g. https://123.132.21.23/mypage.htm), the information bar shows up and the flow remains normal..

Can anyone please help me out of this anomaly.

TIA

Binit
