Icon Text help

Whats goin on. I can't change the color of my icon text on my desktop.

Before I would right click on my desktop -> properties -> appearance -> advanced -> other advanced controls -> and change the color of my desktop to -white- so my icon text would change to black.

Now I just got done formatting and everything worked fine before that.

I'm also using Windowblinds, Icon Packager and CursorXP.

I've never changed a setting in those before that had an effect on my icon text.

I've also formatted before and never had this problem....

Anyone know whats goin on and if I'm missing something?

I would really appreciate some help.

Nevermind, I fixed it.

I had to go to System in control panel -> advanced -> performance -> settings and uncheck -use drop shadows for icon labels- on the desktop.
