Install Error Message

The problem i am having is that when windows starts up the second part of the XP Professional Installation, I get the following error message:

"lsass.exe - System Error"

"An invalid parameter was passed to a service of function"

Upon Clicking "OK" to this message or closing the window the computer reboots. And the process starts over.
In order to try to counter this error message, i tried re-installing The OS two times and still got the same message.

The Computer I am installing this on was my first build here are the specs:

Intel P4 3 Ghz Prescott 800Mhz 1Mb L2 Cache
DFI Lanparty Pro875B Motherboard
2x 512Mb Ampo DDR 400 PC 3200
BFGTech Asylum Geforce FX 5200 256Mb AGP
Creative Audigy Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Platnium Pro
Maxtor Ultra Series ATA/133 120GB 7200rpm 8mb cache
I/O Magic 12x DVD RW Drive

It would be a big help if someone who had this problem before told me how they went about setting their system so this didnt happen.

A Possible solution

Hi,
Though I have never faced this problem before , but here are a few suggestions which might be of use:
1. Remove all cards from the board (i.e. sound card, tv tuner card, and if the motherboard has on on board display then the Display card as well).
2. Remove one of the RAM sticks.
3. Install windows.
4. If install succeeds, try adding the second RAM and see if there is any problem,
5. If setup fails, try the other RAM.
6. If setup succeeds, try adding one device at a time.
Best of Luck
