Unhappy My Network Places Are Lost

I have a D-Link wireless network (operating system: Windows XP SP2) that is functioning perfectly, but I do not see anything when I click on "My Network Places". Can anyone tell me why? I want to share my printer with another remote pc. I can connect to the internet very easily through the wireless router, but can't setup a shared printer because I can't pull up the network icon for the wireless connection.

XP SP2 turns on it's POS firewall by default if you have not configured it, or turned it off you will not be able to network correctly.
