Removing XP Screensavers?

I'm new to XP and can'y seem to get rid of the screensavers. I go into Windows/System32 and delete them......and they keep coming back. This in addition to deleting te same .scr files out of C:\windows\system32\dllcache. BUt they keep showing up in system32.....

Any suggestions? I really want to get rid of these applications, and of course now it's principal.

I don't want to shut off the screensaver, however I do want to permently remove the stock Windows screensavers so that just the ones I've added are in the select menu.

Ummmmmm, pretend they aren't there? ......ummmmm, they are supposed to be there, so Mr M$ won't let you get them out because we must all do as he says..........

You and your SSvers, are stuck for life.......

They come from the win system root every time you bootup........so keep
deleting, and M$ will keep making them for you.......sorry, but that's how it is....

Worse things can happen. Do you know how to get rid of sys restore? I hate the thing

i dont like NOT being able to add/remove things either...even though that program is a bit on the heavy side it's options can be custom installed and it does some pretty cool things, unlike some of the tired old windows screensavers i will never use...lol
