Lost files due to deleting User Profile

Please can anyone help, I have lost all my files due to deleting my main administrator User Profile in My computer, Properties, User Profiles etc.

I have tried to Restore three times, but each time alas, no files.

Is there another way of getting accessto these important lost files. Norton Systemworks for eg. ??

Restoring your computer does not affect or change your personal data files. So I doubt you can get those files back.

The files were not deleted, so must still be on the hard drive somewhere.

Does anyone know if Norton SystemWorks can get these files back ??

Try using Find Files & Folders. Then search for hidden files. You can search for hidden files by looking in your help section.

Norton Utilities can by using the UnErase Wizard.

When you deleted your user account, there was an option to Keep Files or Delete files.

If you chose to Delete files, YOU DELETED YOUR FILES; thus they are gone.

If you chose to Keep Files they will be in c:\Documents and Settings
