HELP...All User Accounts deleated

ok,

I did a really stupid thing. I installed Service pack 2 and I kept getting a "RUN AS" window open up everytime I went to use a program requireing me to log in as a specific user. So, I figured the best way to solve the problem would be to go in and delete all the user accounts including the administrator account.

Now, when I turn on my computer and windows boots up, there is no user account to log into on the welcome screen and I can't get into windows. Even if I use ctl-alt-del and bring up the log in window, when I type in a user account name, such as administrator, it tells me the account has been disabled or deleated. I can't log in to any previous user account as they are all dis-abled or deleated.

How do I turn it back on and reset my password (to one I know) so I don't loose any files on my computer.

I should mention its XP Professional

Oh what a mess...

Click start then control panel then user accounts then create a new account. After you select the name you opt to make it an administrator account or a limited account

Have you tried starting in safe mode and creating a new user account from there?

Safe mode Reboot pc and press f8 repeatedly until the boot screen pops up. Select Safe mode.

This sounds a lot like my problem that I listed below. Mine just sits there at the windows login screen, but doesnt give me any users to even log onto. Control-Alt-Delete doesnt work for me, nor does safe mode, or any of the modes under the F8 key during startup. I never touched anything with my user accounts though, so I have no idea why mine is doing this...I also have Windows XP Professional.
Someone told me to try the Recovery Console or the Windows XP Recovery Disk if you have it...let me know if that helps you!
