manually uninstall program

How do I manually uninstall a program (like complete uninstall with add/remove programs, but I cant use that). I need to uninstall a program but i accidently deleted a dll and can't recover so now it wont let me uninstall with the add/remove utility.

i just hit "Remove" a few more times and it worked....

I also do a search of my system and remove any other references to the program that come up.
