USB don't refresh after restart

Hi!
I have a problem with my USB-Printer, Card-Reader and extern Hard-disc.

After i restart Microsoft Windows XP, then i have to disconnect my USB-Extern-Hardware and connect it again, so that Windows detects the USB-devices. then it works without problems.

In the system-hardware-registry, there is the USB-Port OK.

I have Windows-XP Professional

My Motherboard is a MSI-Motherboard with AMD K6 2200+

How can i activate in windows, that automatically all USB-Ports get refreshed?

i have installed service Pack 2 and now the problem is gone

it works now!
