Question Outlook Express Address Book Folders

Somehow my Address Book got corrupted when I switched to a new computer and imported my old address book. All my Contacts are still there but they used to be organized into folders (Friends, Family, Business, ...). Now they're all in the main folder. When I try to recreate my folder system it tells me "An entry with this name already exists in your Address Book. Please specify a unique name for this entry." But I cannot see any of the "already existing" folders. Is there a way to edit the wab file and delete these folder definitions or else a way to make them visible?

Can I ask what version of Outlook you are using?

I'm using the latest & greatest (Outlook Express 6.00.2900.2180) although I had the problem with the earlier revision. I was hoping the problem would get fixed or detected when I updated but no luck.
