Navigating Files Way Slow

Nothing out of the ordinary has happend to my computer. lately. I fresh installed like 4 days ago and its all been runing fine. LATELY THOUGH. . .everytime I like click a folder on the desktop and want to browse it contents or goto start>my documents for example it takes like way longer than normal for these windows to popup. does anyone have any idea why this is? once the window does popup and is open it goes normal fine i can browse through all my folder like that but if i click and trey to open individual folders or what not that are on my desktop or anywhere it just doesnt open very quick ....anyway im desperate someone please help

Have you tried following the steps in this thread?

It could be that you have a virus or some nasty spyware on your computer. Give this stuff a try and see how it goes.
