shared documents folder: problem

My shared documents folder has been renamed somehow to "documents", and i can't access it anymore! I get this message:

I get the message no matter if i'm logged in as admin or power user or whatever... Searched for viruses and spyware, and it was all clean. I haven't installed anything new for a while, just normal Windows Updates and games from trusted publishers.

ALL of my digitals pictures were in here, so other users could see them... now they seem to be al gone

Can anyone help me? I'm lost

Dell inspiron 8200, Pentium4 @1.8Ghz, 640Mb Ram...

Same thing happened to me, by my "shared docs" folder had several hundred digital music files. I'm still hunting down the problem but I think it was a virus or trojan horse or something.
