using admin password within a user account?

? Can I, as admin. submit my password, within another user's account to carry on admin. duities?(to see a file, set permision, to change content adviser or install a program)

Or is it manditory to make all changes from admin. account?

Hopefully I'm correct in addressing your request..

In XP Pro logged in as any other user (other than admin).. you can hold down the shift key and right click on the excutable..

should give you an option to "Run As"

as in Run as administrator w/ password ofcourse.
