Does SP2 cdkey work on SP1?

I preffer a fast reply, but I need to know if a REAL product key that came with a Service Pack 2 xp home disk would work on a REAL xp home with service pack 1 installation.

I know my network problems are all to do with sp2, cause ive had a computer in the same place with same wireless card and it had beatifull internet. Now it goes on off on off and Ive emailed linksys 3 times and all 3 of there fixes didnt work, so just tell me would this work??

Why not just download it, I understand if you dont have broadband but its a lot easier.

I have a copy of xp home upgrade, and xp home upgrade with sp2....yes they both accept the others key. as long as the copy is of the same type...retail, oem, corp, or upgrade they will work. you can not use a retail copy on a upgrade copy or any other copy unless it is the same exact type.

I got SP1 installed, but heres the reason i wanted to try this out:

Ever since i got my new computer, and got windows xp, witch i found out later had sp2 slipstreamed onto it. With sp2 my wireless internet goes off on off on off on, and i wanted to use my friends sp2 disk to install, anyways i installed sp1, but now since i was messing with adapter names, ssid, channels and things like that, it still goes off and on, but not as frequently...

Any help would be really appreciated, because its hard to stay in an online game when your internet goes off and boots your off...
