Angry explorer crash

I recently started getting an error whenever i tried to open my computer or search for files. I also can't open folders or explore.
I get an error that say this:
"Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

when i look the information about the error i get this:

"AppName: explorer.exe AppVer: 6.0.2600.0 ModName: shell32.dll
ModVer: 6.0.2600.0 Offset: 0007ba1a"

I have had to navigate with netscape and the terminal, it's very inconvenient.

has anyone ever seen or heard of , and could maybe help me fix, this error?
