Help No Idea Wats Happeing Plz Help

Hi,
My other computer has windows xp upgrade just upgraded from 98se but I went to turn it on after installing a game and now it goes to were it says windows xp and that loading bar but hen a cursor comes up and restarts.

PLEASE HELP!

Try starting in "safe mode" (tap F8 repeatedly at bootup) and select safe mode. Then proceed to uninstall the game and see what happens. Are you sure the game is XP compatible?

Toys R Us Lord Of The Rings Fellowship but i think someone installed an application that stuffed it.

Are you able to get to the black screen with all the options including "safe mode" or not?
