Problems after installing MSN Premium

I am writing on behalf of my son, who has a new Dell Laptop. He registered for MSN Premium and received the CD and tried to install it. He had continuous problems throughout the installation.
He said he is fed up with Internet Service Provider, as he has had so many problems with billings and charges, that he tried to uninstall MSN Premium but again the uninstall left behind many files.
He called Dell and they believe that his files are now corrupted. He tried to do a system restore, but that does not work either.
Any suggestions for restoring his system before the installation.

Considering you just paid for a program and it screwed your system, why not phone MSN support or email them. They will surely have the uninstall commands that will proper sort the system. Most support places do, but then again, this is linked to microsoft!!
