XP desktop background and screensaver issue

Having an intermittent problem with the desktop background defaulting to a solid color after XP Plus screensaver such as aquarium runs. To correct, I have to go back to theme or desktop and hit "OK" for the correct background to run. It probably happens more than 50% of the time the screensaver runs. Any ideas?

Give us more info.What kind of video card? Ram? etc. Can you play games alright?

Yes more info. But in the meantime you might try re-installing video driver.

Resolved by uninstalling all Nvidia display drivers and deleting remnants of older drivers and re-installing latest drivers. Thanks
