NO Sound problem

nothing happens evertime i try to install it i get Conexant AC-Link Audio FAILURE
why is that

Set a System Restore before installing drivers just in case

Go here to HP http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/s...3 3559&os=228

scroll down to Intel Chipset Installation Utility / install driver then RESTART your comp

Then install the Audio driver again

no that doesn't work when i get the where it's going to install it says 0% then it shuts off and i don't know why

Can you go to Device Manager and check for any yellow ! or red x shown anywhere. Right click My Computer / Properties / Hardware Tab / Device Manager

i don't know if that will work when i go to the control panel and click on sounds and devices it says no audio device there

Go to Control Panel / Add/Remove Progranes. Look for anything with Audio in the name and look if anything shown for a Conexant programe.

Go to device Manager / Sound, video & game controllers / on the Conexant right click, if enable is shown click to enable driver. Then work your way through the other link I gave you, showing there means that your audio is installed on your comp.
