Annoying status bar notification.....
Example: I am browsing on the internet, I have MSN Messenger running in the background, I get a new message through, my status bar (Taskbar) pops up (usually hidden at the bottom of the screen) with a flashing orange icon saying "Blah:Conversation".
It basically happens when an application does something whilst being in the background. CD Recording finished / New message / So many examples but too few remembered.
How on earth do you turn this thing off? I don't want to be notified, I know something is going to happen, that is why I have it running in the background. I don't want a bright orange notification icon flashing at me.
Please help, looked all over Win XP and done a quick search on this site. Nothing.
