You want to dial up the computer with the modem, and then control the computer and get online with the DSL?

That wouldn't really make much sense, if that is what you want.

Since you are running XP Pro, you can use the Remote Desktop feature.

The link has all the information yo will need to set it up.

Remote Access

Hi Grendel
Many thanks for your reply.

What I am trying to do is dial into my office computer which has an ADSL connection. I want to use this ADSL connection from a remote site via dial in...... similar to an ISP. Use the office computer as a router so to speak.

Seeing I am paying for an ADSL connection I should be able to use it from any remote sight and save the cost of a dial in service.

Best regards Ronn

From what I read, you want to dial in to the modem of the computer with the DSL connection, and then have that computer that you are dialing FROM be able to use the DSL connection of the computer you are dialing to?

If that is that case, I really do not think that is possiable; but I may be reading your inquiry wrong.

If the only connection the remote computer has is a dial-up connection, then that is the fastest it can be, save getting DSL on that computer.
