Getting a program to work when logged in as a non-admin

Hi,

I have this problem, I use ObjectDock, it works perfectly when i am logged in using my own account (admin) but i have another account for my wife with limited privledges.

My wife wants to use ObjectDock with her account, so i started it and put a few programs in it. The only program that will work is Control Panel All the other programs do not work.

When i right click on the Icons in ObjectDock nothing happens (no context menu) and the program will not start.

ObjectDock does not seem to be the problem as i can add and remove programs O.K. and change the style of the dock etc etc.

I think it may have something to do with permissions ? but i am not that experienced with altering file permissions.

Is there a tutorial on the correct way to use programs that are already loaded and work O.K. when logged in as admin.

The easiest way would be to add your wife's user account to the local machine admin group.

Crack, thanks for the reply, How do i do that, i had a look in Admin tools but cannot see a Local Machine Group.
