how to change folder layouts

greetings!

i have a folder full of music and damn windows won't let me sort the files by date.
instead windows changed the folder tabs to "artist" "album title" "year" "track number" and so on. i want the folder layout with like size, type, date modified, etc.

does anyone know how to change this back?

All your options are under View.
If having problems, right-click the folder -> select Properties -> Customize tab -> select Documents (for any file type) from the dropdown -> OK.
