Windows Media Player online problem

Ok so I use a lot of sites to view webcams and watch music videos like launch on Yahoo.

Everything was working fine for quite a while until like 4 days ago now when I try to watch any videos I get an error message (Error Code: 15 C00D10B5) and when I click on error details it tells me "Windows Media Player cannot play the file because the specified protocol is not supported. If you typed a URL in the Open URL dialog box, try using a different transport protocol (for example, "http:" or "rtsp:")."

But it never had a problem playing it before, this problem comes up everytime I try to use Windows Media on a website, even when Im trying to view live cams on webpages using it. Any ideas what might fix this?

Ive searched the web and cant seem to find anything, please help.
