Generally that message pops up when Windows is trying to connect to the drives that have been mapped but one or more are unavailable. Usually that means that the computer with that drive isn't turned on.
If you're using every letter, and your computer has a floppy drive, hard drive and a CD drive, (A, C and D) you've set your computer up to connect to 23 other drives. If it's not really supposed to be connected to 23 other drives (that's anywhere from 23 to 16 other computers on your network, depending on how many harddrives each one has), remove the ones from the network map that you don't need.
