XP problem opening QuickTime
I've used QuickTime for years. New problem this afternoon.
When I try to open QuickTime on desktop I get this error message -
"There is no disk in drive. Please insert a disk in drive\Device\Harddisk3\DR3."
with the options - "Cancel Retry Continue".
Anytime I click an option the error message returns. Most OS functions are locked.
After clicking any of the options very quickly about 50 times, Quicktime opens and works.
I've searched for this error and found a MS document about SCSI trouble shooting.
I have a SCSI card, only attached to a 2GB Jazz drive. A disk is in the drive. The disk opens and responds normally. I've opened Device Manager, clicked Advansys SCSI Host Adaptor and it reports working properly, driver OK. Ditto Jazz drive/disk.
I have reinstalled latest QuickTime, deleted and reinstalled QuickTime, restored the system to two earlier dates. No good.
How do I fix this error or message?
