Explorer wont load
I have installed Windows XP on a new machine and installed the Service Pack. I am connecting to the internet via LAN. I use Wingate to achieve this and it works fine with other family members. This machine allows me to connect once. When I reboot explorer does not load and I end up with just the background screen and am unable to do anything else. When I rebot in safe mode I find that there are a number of addittional network adapters listed in the device manager. This includes a miniport driver, WAN, PPPOE and others. can you tel me why thes drivers self load and how I stop it because everything works fine until this occurs. It occurs after the first reboot following me setting up my network and accessing the internet. I do not use the network setup wizard to establish my network settings and use an assigned IP address etc for my lan connection.
Heeeelp Pleeeease!!!!!!!!!
