Question Ouestions on SP2 for Windows XP

Good afternoon, everyone. I am planning to install the service pak 2 patches into my computer but I am unsure to do so because of the bad reviews I have read about it. Could anybody tell me if it is better to install these patches? If you do, send me an email at wnigaglioni@yahoo.com. Thank you.

I think it's about time everyone had sp2 installed IMO. Most problems are well covered now.
Before installing you want to run full spyware, antivirus and trojan scans in safe mode and run the XP Disk Defragmenter two or three times as well .

This will become a moot point after April 12 (I think thats the date) as Microsoft plans to "force" all XP users to update to SP2.

So you may as well go and do it. I have 4 machines with SP2 and no problems.

Quote from another forum " If people are having problems with SP2 they are doing something wrong"
I totally agree with this quote
