Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close.

IE wont open becuase it encounters a problem, when i view technical information i see this. AppName AppVer ModName ModVer Offset.

Let me know if you need any of this or something else i also run Norton and Ad-aware and norton finds no virus and adaware erases what it finds but still wont open,

Thanks.

I suggest you start using other web browsers...

Firefox --> http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/
Opera --> http://www.opera.com/

This seams to be related.
Google returns 8,570 results .

I would also strongly suggest using an alternative browser (Mozilla, FireFox, Opera), and IE for (Critical) Windows Updates ONLY.

All the Best!

i suspect, this "sfg_2aad.dll" may be spyware related. you should check it out, make sure you can view hidden files and folders, including system files and try run a search for it. when you find it right click on it and select properties, then see how recently it was created, also see the information under the "version" tab and find out as much as you can from google. to be on thr safe side, download, install, update and run "Ad-aware" "Spybot-S&D" and "CWShreder". update your anitivirus program and run that too, run all 4 from safe mode if possible. also run as many online scans as you can be botherd with.

you might also want to give "AVERT Stinger" a try.

I'm with the others. Use an alternate browser. Some of them use the Internet Explorer engine, so to speak and will display any pages IE will. And if they go haywire you can uninstall/reinstall. This is not an option with IE as it is integral to the operating system. This said, once it goes south so can your whole operating system. Here are some browsers to look at. And they are fine improvements over IE. Slimbrowser, Avant, Maxthon, and Crazy. They can be found at your favourite free software dispensary.
