Hi
the script error message is on the buttom left hand side of the IE page or it open it own windows when you see the message?
if it open it own message box try this step
try this open internet option, go to advance tab, look for
Disable script debugging (Internet explorer)
Disable script debugging (other)
make sure they both have a check mark in the box
if the script error show at the buttom left hand side of IE page you might want to look in manage add-ons option in programs tab and start disabled one add ons at the time until you find the one that causes the problem and then enable the least of the add-ons back
if that still not help try delete all the activate X file from download program file folder and let IE re download it again
download program file can be found by go to internet option, in the general tab go to setting, view object and it will open download program file folder
delete everything in there and close IE and try the internet again
good luck

Just get Mozilla or FireFox, and use Internet Explorer for Windows Update only.

You also may want to scan for spyware and viruses.

All the Best!

Script Errors

It took me forever to get rid of the script error. Finally found this solution ... it worked.

For Microsoft Windows 98, Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows Millennium Edition, and Windows NT 4.0 you go to:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

or for Windows 2000 go to:

All of the above except FamilyId=C717D943-7E4B-4622-96EB-95A22B832CAA&displaylang=en

Hope it works. If it doesn't, check the 0's (oh's) and 0's (zeros) in my website address above ... hard to tell which one it is when I retyped.

Good luck!
