Question Disk checking(blue screen) starts and cancels at every boot up

Windows versiom: Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 2 (build 2600)
Windows XP firewall (Service pack 2)
Antivirus: Computer Associates International, Inc. - Vet Version 10.64.0.9
Antispyware: Microsoft AntiSpyware (Beta 1) Version 1.00.05

For about the last month whenever I start my computer up it shows the disk checking screen(blue screen) for about 2 seconds then says "disk checking cancelled" then continues to boot up. Then it continues to work like normal. The only thing that I have installed on the computer is the Microsoft AntiSpyware (Beta 1) Version 1.00.05. Should I be worried about this problem?

I just completed the first option under "Check Disk - Disk Checking Runs Upon Boot" on http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_c.htm upto "Go to Start/Run/CMD and type in: fsutil dirty query c:". I did not continue with "If it comes back as dirty, it hasn't cleared...". When I completed the first step it said that my C:\ is dirty. If that helps.

Thanks
