It's posible to boot from a HD clone?

Hello to everybody
I kike to copy entirely the content of a HD to another (let's speak: "to make a clone"). The question is if I can to boot from the new HD prepared in this way...
Can someone give to me some hints? Do I need some additionals programs for that?

Try looking at Norton Ghost. This will make an image of the drive to copy and allow copy to another hard disk.

See if you can still get the 2003 version, I only say this because I recently purchased version 9.0 and am having problems using the recovery procedure.

You can boot from the cloned hard drive as long as the motherboard type is the same. So if you are simply upgrading your computer by replacing your old hard drive with the new cloned version it should behave in exactly the same way. However if you are putting the cloned hard drive into a different computer you need to ensure the motherboard model is pretty much exactly the same, and then any other different hardware components such as monitors, graphics cards etc. will need to have their drivers installed.
