xp reinstall freeze up

Tried to reinstall windows xp. Stops at 22 mins. remaining. A blue screen with (A problem has been detected & windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer Bad_Pool_Caller. When I shut down (not a normal shut-down) and restart, computer goes back to set up screen and the whole thing starts over). I can't boot to safe-mode or anything else. Also gives this Tech Info. Stop 0X000000C2 (0X00000007, 0X00000CD4, 0X00340045, 0XE1FD2DBC) Any help would be appreciated.

Re-start and do a brand new installation, reformatting the drive before installation.

Or,

Install another copy of Windows alongside the original damaged installation.

Your windows xp cd is corrupted.
