Difficulty saving images in JPEG

Hi, I'm having difficulty saving images in JPEG Format.

When I rightclick and select save picture as, to save an image from the internet I can only save it as a BMP. BMP is the only format available under "type" I know there must be some way to change this as on another computer (also with XP) you can save the images under JPEG, BMP etc.., maybe under customization or preferences or something, i just can't find anything. can anyone help? Please

Delete the temporary Internet files. To do so, click Tools, click Internet Options, click the General tab, and then click the Delete Files button.
