startup apps

how can i find out whats starting up on start up?

go to start/ run/ type "msconfig" without the quotation marks then click on the "startup" tab. there you will see a list of the programs that start automatically every time you boot into windows. you can then check and uncheck what ever you want, but make sure its not your antivirus/security programs or any nesesery windows component.
