Trouble sending / Receiving Mails..

hi,

I have a Toshiba Tablet with Windows XP Professional (SP2) installed.I have a wireless card to access internet.

I face a peculiar problem after installing SP2.

1) I use Thunderbird as a mail client.I am able to receive/send messages for some time, soon after connecting to internet.

2)After some time ,The client throws an error "Unable to connect to Pop3 server" or "Unable to connect to smtp server" whenever i try to receive or send an e-mail.

3) similarly, am able to browse only for about 2 mins after which i get an error "Internet explorer cannot find the requested page". however, i can see thet i am connected to internet in the task bar.

4) the problem persists even after diabling the firewall.

I have Norton antivirus ,Ad-Aware SE, Office Xp Suite Installed .

Any help in this regard is greatly appreciated..

Thanks

Arun S
