My dvd is not working after installing XP

Hi Gurus,

I installed XP on my machine which has Toshiba 6X DVD-Rom
now that drive is not identified
Can anyone point me the drivers or anything else needed for this

Help me Please!!!!!!!

Try running windows update...it may automatically give you the driver. Other than that go to Toshibas homepage and look for the appropriate driver there.

try doing I"nstall New Hardware.....Search for New Hardware", and see if the OS finds it then - sometimes a little "push" is needed if it does not find it the first tie round. I assume the drive has power and everything?
