New Installation

I am confused....I have just had to re-install XP on to a new hard disc. One thing that I needed to do was re-create my Microsoft Outlook folders with my .ost files. But I am not getting a local settings folder. I looked at my old set up and there were loads of things in there, especially Microsoft stuff. I have added 3 user accounts, re-installed Office, even put mt FS9 back on and I know that a configuration file goes in the local settings folder.

Any ideas anybody as I at a loss.

Navigate to: "C:\Documents and Settings\your user name ". next click "tools"--> "folder options"--> "view"--> "show hidden files and folders"--> "apply"--> "OK".

now you should be able to see the "Local Settings" folder.
