Comp won't start Win XP

It won't boot, it immediately shows the F8 screen giving the options to restart but if I choose any of them, normal, safe mode, last working config it reverts back to the same page without any changes. I'll try making a boot disk w/ another comp and see if that works.

Any suggestions or solutions you might know? Thanks

Have you tried booting from your installation disk kemfizix?
What happened before this problem?. Did you install any new software/hardware?.

The more info you can give us the better

No I haven't that was going to be my next step. Actually it's my aunts comp and I don't know if she installed something. The thing is I can't even get a command promp so I can delete or modify files if needed.
