Menu Disappeared!

I have no idea why... but suddenly and without warning my MENU disappeared from the Windows Explorer. How do I get it back?? Is there a hide/show menu key combination I've accidentally toggled?

Here's my problem:
Go to "My Computer".
See the menu? ...Well, I don't!

I'm scratching my head... please reply if you have any ideas! Thanks...

when you say menu do you mean your start bar?

if thats the case press control+alt+del and go to file then new task

click browse and navigate to C:\windows\explorer.exe

run it and your start should come back


it proply just turned off becasue of an error but i advise you to run a virus scan.

I'm having the same problem. I doubt it's a virus, work, spyware/hijacking software. I know I hit a key combination and that's when it happenned. I know when I have typed something incorrectly from feel of the keyboard. I most certain it's some stupid "feature" Remond has placed, but has made it most impossible how to resolve.

Hmm.... never get these types of problems with my Macs.

But yeah... I'm in the same boat. :-(
