XP Professional - History?

I hate having all the search history come up in search engines and stuff. Is there any way I can turn this off?! It's driving me nuts, and I've looked everywhere for help! Thanks.

are you talking about in internet explorer or in the the search box, please be more spcific

In the search box, fopr example in Yahoo when I type in what I'm looking for on teh actual site.

In Internet Explorer, go to Tools>Internet Options>Content tab>Auto Complete button and uncheck "Forms" and click the "Clear Forms" button to make sure the entries already there are cleared.
