bridge.dll is spyware, see the link below:

http://www.2-spyware.com/file-bridge-dll.html

Do NOT download Spyhunter for removal as suggested in the link. Spyhunter has been identified as rouge software, which are either rip offs of adaware or spybot or simply useless/inefficient or downright dangerous.

Download "Spybot search and destroy" and "Ad-aware", then update both programs and run a scan with them. Aslo update your antivirus and run a scan with that too.

Spybot download:
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html

Ad-aware download:
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/

If either of these program find bridge.dll but cannot remove it, then try running them from safe mode.

I down loaded Adaware from "lavasoftusa.com". Program ran and found many criticals. Tried down loading Spybot from "safer-networking.org", Spybot down loaded but would not open or run. "bridge.dll" was removed by the Adaware program. I lost the error with bridge.dll but still have the others. I did gain another which was probably due to stopping "Instant Messenger" which is: "OPXPApp.exe encountered a problem and needs to close". Also I don't have a anti-vius program on the system.

If you dont have an antivirus then I suggest you fully reformat and re-install Windows, then install an antivirus program. That might be the only way to get your computer back running the way it should.

My suggestions:

1. Backup your data. May be a good idea to scan what you want to backup, to make sure you dont backup a virus:

2. Fully reformat and re-install your OS:
http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000647.htm

3. Install an antivirus:
http://free.grisoft.com/freeweb.php/doc/2/lng/us/tpl/v5

4. Install a firewall:

5. Install adware/spyware prevention, detection and deletion programs:

Spybot Search & Destroy (detection and removal)
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html

Ad-Aware SE Personal (detection and removal)

SpywareBlaster (prevention)

Everything is GREAT, followed the above and all is find. Thanks a million. May your problems be as easy. Otis
