Exclamation Computer Boot Problems

Im having huge issues with my computer. Two days ago the keyboard went crazy and would only type selected keys but about a billion times if I pressed the key once. Then when I replaced the keyboard it worked fine but would take forever shutting down. Yesterday I press the power button and the computer got electricity but did not start up. I manually shut it off and tried to restart the computer and no power, no nothing this time. I opened up my computer and found the Power supply was messed up (had something broken inside). I bought a new power supply and installed it in the computer. The DVD drive and CDRW Drive work fine and recieve power but the computer will not boot now. The hard drive makes a faint buzzing sound but I get nothing on the computer screen to let me know what is going on? Is this a corrupted hard drive? if so, by replacing the hard drive will that solve my issues and could I recover some information from the hard drive?

Thanks for any assistance.

Hey, no beeps no nothing. I press the power button to power up the computer and it gives power everywhere. The DVD AnD CDRW drives open and close fine but in terms of loading up the harddrive or starting windows, NOTHING, no sounds, no beeps, nothing on the screen (its blank). I have no clue to the motherboard, I know i purchased the computer about a year ago, its an emachine. the Harddrive is a Western Digitial WD Caviar 120 GB. Hope that helps.
