Help - no Help!

I've noticed something strange lately. It started when I tried to access Help in Microcsoft Word, and just got a blank pane on the right side of the screen (Inapproriately titled "Microsoft Word Help".) Now I just tried to access Help in Outlook Express, and just got an event noise, no Help. Same thing in Windows Explorer when I try to access the Help and Support Center. Same thing going through the Control Panel. In Solitaire I get a message, "Unable to load Windows Help application." Has anybody ever heard of anything like this? I guess it isn't a major tragedy, as I usually prefer help that I find on the Internet to the Microsoft version, but it's got me thinking that there is something screwy going on with my system. I stay on top of spyware pretty well, so I'm thinking it's not that. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Go to this Kelly's Korner page, scroll down to line 235, click on to download "Restore Help and Support Services."

Run it according to the directions at the top of that page.
