WMP10 advanced tag editor

advanced tag editor

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello
My question applies to WMP10 in XPPRO and wasn't sure where to post so MODs feel free to shuffle.
Question. I'm ripping my cd's to a file sharing folder. The app doesn't seem to take the album cover and titles into the file when in "rip album" mode. I figured since in WMP10, "find album info", the metaservices.windowsmedia.com site can't retrieve the info either; I'd use the advanced tag editor to manually put in album cover jpg. and song titles. But when ok'd it doesn't pull it up in "info center" display or album art visualization...Then in the WINDOWS Media Knowledge center site I locate this tidbit: "Note Changing the art associated with the album folder will change the album art displayed in the Video and Visualization pane of the Player when the song is playing. However, it will not change the album art displayed in the Media Information pane in the Player." What is the correct way to get the album ionformation to display? anybody? anybody?...thanx M
