It appears that you're trying to use an inherited steering wheel and pedal set, attached to the game port on a newly installed SoundBlaster Live card.
If the gameport appears in Device Manager, then the problem you are experiencing is very likely due to having no driver for the Wheel/pedals.
Search the web for the manufacturers' website and download the correct driver.
You should be able to get instructions on how to instal from the same site and, after installation, windows should automatically detect the presence of the errant hardware, allowing your daughter to drive herself silly.
