*EMERGENCY* PC Wont boot

I had done a repair of Windows files through the XP PRO disk, now when i boot up right after it shows the bootscreen, it gives the BSOD and the reboots only to repeat the cycle, WTF is going on, how can i fix this?

also i have a custom bootscreen, which never gave me any problems before...

Thanks for your time...

Try the process on this page. Although it says it's for repairing after removing spyware, it addresses the endless-boot-loop problem.

Just a thought here, AVG and Roxio is a know bug that produces some weird errors on reboot, is it possible your restore,

A/. reinstalled roxio software (Easy CD Creator etc)

B/. removed a previous patch to fix this bug (patch from AVG site)

Have you searched for your stop error?

yeah it has something to do with a Inaccessable boot device, i dont understand how that could happen, tha very last thig i did to the system was reinstall windows through the repair feature which i have done many times on mine and other computers. when i do a search i get this among some other things

http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;324103

i cant really understand what exactly it all means boot if you can make something out of it, i would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks

Ilya
