I need suggestions

Well this is pretty hard to explain but I'll try my best I hope anyone can help me with this

I was looking for this .avi file I saved in my documents I didn't open it, delete it or touch it...I honestly remembered i saved it in my documents...I looked it and it was no where to be found...I searched my computer for it and it showed up but it said "File Cannot be located"

Usually all my .avi files work when I save them in my documents....is there any suggestions i can get this back? Its really important and I would really appriciate help or try to give me ideas...thanks basically Im just looking for a way to get back this file...

oh by the way, my last system restore was at 3:40 something PM (Im in East coast) and I saved the file as in my documents somewhere around 7 PM....so im guessing system restore wouldnt help

Yeh i jsut read the sticky sorry...heres my info

5.1 2600 Service Pack 1 Build 26000....
Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition

Try searching again for "*.avi" (without quotes) and any file with an .avi extension will be listed.

On the off-chance you've deleted it, use this link and try the free download.

Oops - the demo version will only recover a file of <64kb. But you could try it to see if it was deleted and is recoverable.
